The existing Emergency Plume Gamma Monitoring System (EPGMS) is approaching the end of its design life at many of the British Nuclear Group, Magnox Generation sites. We were commissioned to review the performance of the systems at each site, assess potential upgrade options, and make recommendations on the best approach to be adopted to ensure the EPGMS system remains available to meet its duty at minimum lifetime cost.
