Case Study Description

Acting as a Systems Engineering Consultant for British Nuclear Fuels Ltd (Magnox Generation), we helped to develop engineering options to support a reliability claim for the removal of spent fuel from the Reactor core.

The existing fuel route was assessed, and proposals were developed to demonstrate that all fuel is removed as part of the Station decommissioning programme. A report was produced as a starting point for a detailed Human Factors Assessment.
